Meet Tammy: Your Financial Literacy Coach

  • Co-owner of multiple traditional businesses simultaneously - check
  • Currently working toward Accreditation as a Canadian Financial Counselor

Which brings us to the more recent present:  my husband Neil and I sold the last of our 4 traditional businesses in 2018.

He had a knack for consistently growing our automotive businesses by 3 times the industry average year-after-year!

I learned SO much from him!

But the bookkeeping and managing the cash-flow and credit for all the businesses and real estate investments,

that was my job - and I have to say, I kinda rocked it!

Over the years, we’ve always been diligent about improving our Financial Literacy

by attending courses, reading books, practicing what we learned, hiring mentors and occasionally “failing forward”.

Have you noticed that education always comes with a price tag attached

- whether it’s paying for a course or “the school of hard knocks”?

  Financial Literacy is no different.

As the saying goes, "Pay me now, or pay me later, but you're going to pay!"

Now, some people, they choose to learn everything the hard way.  That’s just how it is.  God bless you.  Move along.  I can’t help you!

Personally, I like the more direct, less painful way of learning if it’s an option:  from other people’s victories and mistakes!

Anyone with me on that one?  Great!  You and I are gonna work really well together!

Now, that’s not to say we never took any stupid chances, or missed any great investment opportunities,

because we’ve done both those things.

We have a small real estate investing portfolio that, incidentally,

no longer includes a $35,000 house in Cleveland that we purchased site-unseen for about $100,000 - ya, that was fun - NOT!

Now our portfolio includes a beautiful, income-producing dream home in Davenport, FL

 - check out our FB Page: Orlando Family Vacation Home.

And we have RRSPs and TFSAs and such investments in the stock market and small business startups.

Again, pulled some real bonehead moves all over the place over the years, but so far we’ve come-out ahead

 - and that’s WITH attending courses, reading books, having mentors.

After selling our last traditional business in July 2018 and taking almost a year off,

I was looking for something that would enable me to use my diverse work history and over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur/investor in a way that would make other people’s lives better.

That’s when I started teaching bookkeeping, QuickBooks, Excel, and ... Wealth Mastery!

Financial Literacy through “Wealth Mastery” - shut the front door!

I get super-stoked about watching people of all ages

 - teenagers, young adults, not-so-young adults who need a fresh start -

go from “Ya, I guess I SHOULD check this out” to “YES! Look at what I’ve done with what you’ve taught me!”

This program is just brilliant!

So here’s the bottom line:

if you’re ready,

you can count on me to show up authentically

with a high level of patience, enthusiasm, and belief in you,

whether you’re looking for help setting up QuickBooks for your sole-proprietorship or small/medium-sized business,

and/or you’re committed to improving your Financial Literacy.

It’d be my absolute pleasure to be a part of your journey.

Send me a message.  Let’s get on with rockin’ your life!

Warmly, Tammy Browning
